Sunday morning greeters
Greeting Team is a Sunday Morning Volunteer group that greets the congregation gathered for worship at ASF.
Details about the position:
Greeters serve as teams of 4 volunteers who come 10 minutes prior to the start of a service to:
Stand near exterior doors to greet folks walking in
Be available to field questions, give direction, disseminate information and offer welcome
Hand out bulletins
Operate the sanctuary doors through coffee break
Remain available in the lobby to usher latecomers
Once the sermon starts, greeters:
Take a census of adults and youth in the sanctuary and adult and youth classrooms
Compile and record their count
Then participate in the remainder of worship
